The long wait is over! Finally, they return home! The fever is on in ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida this August.

"Meteor Garden"  2018 is set to premiere in the Kapamilya network starting this Monday, August 20, 2018 replacing "The Blood Sisters."

Though the series already started in China and in some part of Asia since June 2018, the Asianovela is slated to have its home comeback in ABS-CBN on August 20, 15 years since the first airing of the original "Meteor Garden,"  the Taiwanese version in 2003. 

Well to keep you hype on the remake of this exciting chinovela, here is the full Tagalized trailer of "Meteor Garden"2018 to be aired in the Kapamilya station:



Take note that the remake's timeslot is the same timeslot with its original 2003 version, right before TV Patrol.

Pinoy Dance Crew Junior New System Joins Asia’s Got Talent Alum in America’s Got Talent Live Shows

It’s a round of resounding yeses for Pinoy dance crew Junior New System as they head to the Live Shows in America’s Got Talent!

They roused the audience off their seats with their high-octane routine that involved flips in golden stilettos and wowed all the judges! Junior New System will join comedy duo Yumbo Dump from season 2 who impressed the judges with their act of making silly noises with their bellies, and winner of season 2 The Sacred Riana who managed to achieve over 12 million views on YouTube with her scary illusions in the Live Shows. 


These three acts will be performing in the Live Shows over the next three weeks where their fates of moving forward to the semi-finals will be left in the hands of the audience. The Live Show airs every Thursday at 6pm and encores at 8pm, while the Live Results Show airs every Friday at 6pm and encores at 8pm.

Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia Take Acting Prowess a Notch Higher via "Ngayon at Kailanman"

A story of two young adults trapped in the middle of a dark past and a complicated future in “Ngayon at Kailanman”, with its pilot episode streaming via TFC online (www.TFC.tv)

Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia are ready to take their acting prowess a notch higher as they star in ABS-CBN’s latest series offering, “Ngayon at Kailanman”, which can be seen outside the Philippines via The Filipino Channel (TFC), with its pilot episode streaming in most countries worldwide via TFC online (www.TFC.tv) on August 20.

Their team-up was first seen in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Vince, Kath, James” in 2016, where they were teenagers that are new with the idea of love. Their tandem has grown from teens who fell in love for the first time to two persons who had loved, been hurt, and was careful to love again, in their films “Love You to the Stars and Back” and “Unexpectedly Yours” both in 2017.



Early in 2018, the loveteam popularly known as JoshLia has taken their viewers by surprise as they portray the role of two young adults exposed to the realities of life in the film “I Love You, Hater”.

Now, Barretto and Garcia are ready to touch more hearts with their roles as they move from the big screen to the small screen and star in their first TV series “Ngayon at Kailanman”.

The two actors get out of their comfort zones as they give life to the characters of Eva (Barretto) and Inno (Garcia). Used to her reserved and rich characters, Barretto will shift to the loud and jolly Eva who is living in the slums, while Garcia who was used to the positive and all smiles characters will turn to a stiff and quiet Inno who is from an elite family.

“Ngayon at Kailanman” will tell the story of two people from different worlds, Eva and Inno, who will enter each other’s lives and fall in love. However, destiny has other plans for them as their love will be tested by Inno’s family, the Cortes clan, and the mystery behind Eva’s identity.

The series is a combination of the classic story of a Filipino series and the modern eye on how the younger generation takes on the realities of life. It is a clash of preserving the conventional pass-on of heirloom and living a purposive life.



Part of the cast of “Ngayon at Kailanman” are some of Philippines’ respected and renowned actors and actresses: Rio Locsin, Iza Calzado, Christian Vasquez, Alice Dixon, Ina Raymundo, Dominic Ochoa and TJ Trinidad. Also in the cast are two of Philippines’ hottest young actors today, Jameson Blake and Joao Constancia.

Thai’s Highest-Grossing Film “Brother Of The Year” to Hit the Philippine Cinema this September!

Ranked as #1 in Thai box offices and across Asia, romcom movie “Brother of the Year” hits Philippine cinemas on September 5, 2018. The movie is directed by Vithaya Thongyuyong   (My Girl, The Little Comedian) and stars Thai heartthrob Sunny Suwanmethanont, Nichkhun Horvejkul of Korean boy band 2PM and TV actress Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund.


“Brother of the Year” is a unique romcom turn family drama that reveals how a straight-A younger sister Jane (Yaya Sperbund) lives with her brother Chut (Sunny Suwanmethanont). While enjoying his wild bachelor life, Chut will need to learn to take care of himself when Jane is about to get married to her half-Japanese boyfriend, Moji (Nichkhun Horvejkul). Siblings have an unbreakable bond and that love for family can only resolve all indifferences. “Brother of the Year” takes on a realistic portrayal of the meddling problem of an older brother who acts as a nemesis to his sisters that a lot of people will be able to relate to some if not all aspects of the story and learn something from this heartwarming film.

In Thailand, “Brother of the Year” garners in about 250 Million Baht (approximately 7.8 million USD) and touted as the highest-grossing Thai movie that has been released across Asia. Movie Synopsis

Ever since he was a kid, Chut (Sunny Suwanmethanont) always thought that the baby in his mum’s belly was going to be a brother. Yet, the day she gave birth, he got a sister instead.  Chut felt like he had been short-changed. His dreams of playing with robots and playing football with his brother were shattered. Every time he plays with darn Jane (Urassaya Sperbund) she turns into a crybaby. Ever since they were kids until now, Chut and Jane have fought over everything. It’s all because Jane acts more like his mother than his sister and Chut likes to make himself a burden instead of being an older brother. Whether it be in studies, sports, looks or personality; Jane is always more perfect. Jane wonders if there are other big brothers out there that are worse to their younger sister just like Chut. 
The only time Chut acts like an older brother is when someone shows interest in Jane. Chut will bully her admirers into leaving her alone and considers this as payback.  
This is the reason why Jane has to keep her relationship with Moji (Nichkhun Horvejkul), her perfect half-Japanese boyfriend, a secret from Chut. Jane doesn’t want her relationship to be destroyed at the hands of Chut, like every other one before. However, love isn’t something to be kept a secret, and in the end, Chut finds out about Jane and Moji’s secret relationship. It is unlikely that Chut will let this pass. 

A great brother like Chut will do everything in his power to put a stop to anything that makes his little sister happy!

Meet the Stars of "Brother of the Year"

Before we witness the grand opening of Thailand's top grossing film "Brother of the Year" this coming September 5, 2018, let's get to know first the stars who lead the movie as well as its movie director. 

The three visited the Philippines on August 16 for the grand presscon in Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas and for the movie's premiere night after in SM Megamall. Photos were taken during the premiere night and presscon courtesy of Allan Sancon.   

The Director:

‘Vithaya’, one of the directors of My Girl, gathered ideas about sibling relationships and turned them into a romantic comedy ‘Brother of the Year’, the latest film from GDH.

“When the producers, Mr. Jira and Ms. Vanridee, invited me to make a film about brother and sister, I was hooked on the idea right away because I also have two younger siblings. I found that each sibling relationship is very engaging and unique.


When I made ‘Brother of the Year’, it felt like when I made My Girl, where I casted my mind back to my first love and childhood friends. This film made me reminisce about my family, especially, when I interfered in my younger ones’ love life. I believe that many other siblings experience something like this too.

I did my best and put my all into this film. And I’m so glad that I was able to cast Sunny, Nichkhun, and Yaya in this film. Not only that they had such a great chemistry together, but also they could portray their characters and convey the story beyond what I wrote in the script. They made me truly believe that Sunny was Chut, the lame brother; Yaya was Jane, his perfect sister; and Nichkhun was Moji, Jane’s boyfriend. I enjoyed watching them playing their roles through the monitor every time.

Another story that impressed me most was from Yaya. She told me that this film made her love her sister even more. One day when her sister came back from abroad, Yaya gave her sister a big hug and said “I love you so much” to her. This was so heartwarming. Mr. Jira told me once that there are three types of effects that a film can give to its audience: 1. They watch it and they acknowledge what it is about. 2. They watch it and they enjoy it. 3. They watch it and they learn something from it. I hope that ‘Brother of the Year’ will provide all three effects to the audience.”

Sunny Suwanmethanont

‘Sunny’ plays the role of Chut, Jane’s brother.

“I only have older siblings. After I played the older brother role in this film, it made me want to have a younger sister like Yaya. She is such a nice, lovely, sincere, well-disciplined and caring person. 

When we were in the scenes together, I always felt like she was really my sister.



The first day Bon, the director, told me that he wanted me to play a role in his film about sibling relationships, I already found it very interesting. And after I got to read the screenplay, I knew that I could not pass up this opportunity. Stories about siblings are easily relatable to many others and me. I believe that most of us would hardly express our love to our siblings. Imagine, it’s quite embarrassing to walk to your siblings and say “I love you, brother!” “I love you, sister!” Even though we do not express it out loud, deep down inside, we know that we love one another. 

Yaya, Nichkhun, and I attended acting workshops together. There was a session where we took turns telling stories about our own siblings. Yaya was so touched and cried really hard. All of us, including the director, got teary-eyed too. We started to open up to one another and it helped develop good chemistry among us

Also known as Proy/Proymon, she plays “Dear”, an intern at Chut’s company.

Chanchalerm Manasaporn was born on March 6, 1995 in Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design at the Faculty of Decorative Arts of Silpakorn University.

Scenes and Stars of "Meteor Garden" 2018 Use Vivo Smartphones

Hit TV series Meteor Garden has made a comeback this 2018 after a successful and highly popular run 17 years ago, in 2001. Set in the city of Shanghai, the series reboot centers around the story of an ordinary girl, Dong Shancai who enters a prestigious university where she later encounters the well-known F4, an exclusive circle of four boys celebrated in school for their good looks and wealthy background. A string of events brought Shancai with the boys, particularly with the handsome Daoming Si and soft-spoken Huaze Lei.

In the Philippines, the local fans were crossing their fingers that a Filipino version of the beloved Chinese series would materialize, calling for their favorite celebrities to earn a spot in a local series re-make. When  rumors surfaced in 2017 that Meteor Garden would be resurrected, the anticipation was also met with uncertainty that the reboot with series darlings Shancai and Daoming Si would not be as good as the original, some even calling that the original casts be called back for the re-creation of the show.

Blue Ant Entertainment Reveals Fresh New TV Series and New Shows Line Up for September

Blue Ant Media, an international content producer, distributor and channel operator announced today a multi-year licensing agreement for the new Dick Wolf-produced drama, FBI, the reimagining of the hit series, CHARMED and the UK’s most talked about reality TV show, THE X FACTOR UK and a beefed up programming line-up for the network’s international channel, Blue Ant Entertainment across Asia.

The top-rated British talent show, which has been airing exclusively and same day as the UK on Blue Ant Entertainment, will remain with the network until 2020.


This deal further enhances the channel’s primetime offerings catering to the reality talent show fans. In the Philippines and Malaysia, Blue Ant Entertainment is the exclusive broadcaster of The X Factor UK.

Some of the world’s biggest musical acts started from the show, and more aspiring artists try their luck year after year. Now with a new set of mentors alongside music mogul Simon Cowell, the three new judges Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams, and former contestant and One Direction member Louis Tomlinson, are all expected to bring a whole new energy to the biggest singing competition in the UK. Blue Ant Entertainment will show The X Factor UK S15same day as the UK every Sunday and Monday starting 2 September 2018.

The network has also secured and renewed multiple deals with CBS Studios International, which are slated to air in September and October. Exclusive new series and fresh episodes of dailies will be released day and date on Blue Ant Entertainment.


FBI, an exciting new series from American television producer Dick Wolf and the team behind the Law & Order franchise, will make its debut in Asia this September. The new series is a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This elite unit brings to bear all their talents, intellect and technical expertise on major cases in order to keep New York and the country safe. Dick Wolf, Greg Plageman, Terry Miller, Noberto Barba, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski are executive producers for Universal Television in association with CBS Television Studios. FBI is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.


Michael Weatherly will return as the trial consultant Dr. Bull on the third season of Bull on Blue Ant Entertainment. Bull is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Amblin Television and Stage 29 Productions and is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.  Glenn Gordon Caron, Paul Attanasio, Dr. Phil McGraw, Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Jay McGraw serve as executive producers. 


Charmed, based on the original series, will land on the channel as well. Ultimately the sisters accept their new destiny as The Charmed Ones and their new duty to protect humankind from the demons that walk among us, one of whom killed their mother. The series stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery and Madeleine Mantock. Charmed is from CBS Television Studios in association with Propagate Content and is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International. Jennie Snyder Urman, Jessica O’Toole, Amy Rardin, Ben Silverman, Brad Silberling, Howard Owens and Carter Covington serve as executive producers.  


Both programs will air express from the U.S., within 48 hours of its U.S. airing this October.

Henry Cavill Bids Goodbye as 'Superman,' Michael B. Jordan to Take his Throne?

For the new generation including yours truly, Henry Cavill is our best Superman! For us, he is perfect for the said superhero role, our favorite! He even proved his blockbuster charisma for making three "Superman"  movies on top of the box-office competition. Therefore, we're sadden for his departure as the Man of Steel. 

According to reports, Cavill was dissatisfied with current negotiations with Warner Bros, the film outfit who bring "Superman" on the big screen for the recent three franchise. What more surprised the netizens is a news saying that a possible actor to replace his role is no other than Michael B. Jordan. 

Jordan is best known playing the villainous Killmonger to Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther.

Aside from the reports of Cavill's exit and Jordan's possible replacement, rumors say that DC will not be bringing out a solo Superman movie in the near future. Instead, they will focus on"Supergirl."



The new Superman will just lead the other superheroes in their right place.  The "Justice League"  stars Jason Momoa who played as "Aquaman"and Gal Gadot, this generation's "Wonder Woman" will still have their own movies -"Aquaman" on December 21 and"Wonder Woman 1984" on 2019.   

Meanwhile, since Cavill already stepped out as Superman, they say that he may likely join Ben Affleck, the actor who starred as "Batman" in the franchise in a not yet announced project.

After the successful comeback of Precious Hearts Romances Presents via "Araw Gabi," ABS-CBN is set to bring us another exciting teleserye adaptation of the well-loved Pinoy pocketbook, PHR. This time, the hot men will take the lead!

Five bastard brothers will fight for the rights! Jake Cuenca, Albie Casino, Marco Gumabao, Joshua Colet, and Diego Loyzaga lead the upcoming sexy-theme TV series "Los Bastardos," based from the PHR novel "Cardinal Bastards" written by Vanessa.

The five hunks were the sons of Don Roman played by Ronaldo Valdez.

Meet the hunks of the newest Precious Hearts Romances Presents offering "Los Bastardos!"

They will definitely put your afternoon on fire as ABS-CBN brings another well-loved story from the PHR novel. And this time, the lead stars are not females nor love teams. But, the hottest hunk actors in the country were gathered for this exciting TV series.

Based from Vanessa's "Cardinal Bastards," meet the 5 hunk leading men who will fight for right and love in "Los Bastardos."  Here they are:

Jake Cuenca as Isagani

Diego Loyzaga as Joaquin

Joshua Colet as Connor

Marco Gumabao as Matteo

Albie Casiño as Lucas

Jake Cuenca, Diego Loyzaga, Joshua Colet, Marco Gumabao,  and Albie Casiño play the bastard Cardinal brothers. They were the sons of the rich man Don Roman played by Ronaldo Valdez. 

This is actually the first time that these five hot actors of the Kapamilya network work together in one huge teleserye. And yes, the theme is sexy. It is more passionate than the previous PHR offerings so expect that they will definitely rise up your temperature.

Fresh from the success of "The Blood Sisters" where he played the villain Rocco, Jake Cuenca is Isagani, the eldest of the five brothers. 

After leading in the hit afternoon soap "Pusong Ligaw" last year with Sofia Andres, Diego Loyzaga returns. This time, in his ultimate sexy role with a huge tattoo on chest as Joaquin! Is he portraying the comic character of "Joaquin Bordado" in this series?

Marco Gumabao on the other takes lead in this newest Kapamilya teleserye after transferring from Star Magic to Viva Artists. He is playing Matteo, another mysterious character.

Meanwhile, after his first leading man role as Christian in the 2010 remake of "Mara Clara,"Albie Casiñowas once again given a new chance to lead in a new TV series since after "Mara Clara" where he was first paired to Kathryn Bernardo, he always landed for a supporting or antagonist roles. His character here as Lucas seems simple and kind.

And yes, we always watched him in most of the episodes of "Ipaglaban Mo" and guest appearance in Precious Hearts Romances Presents "Araw Gabi."  He even played the vampire slayer in the Moonchaser group in "La Luna Sangre" as Daniel Padilla's alliance. But this time, Joshua Colet will have a bigger role as Connor, a breakthrough in his showbiz career here in the series.

Watch: The Full Uncut Trailer and OST of "Pamilya Roces"

Not one, but three... One father but with three families! Are you ready to meet Family 1, 2, and 3?

GMA Telebabad is set to bring us another dramedy, a comedy-drama that would set another good vibes in Philippine Primetime TV. Following the success of their comedy-drama  genres in primetime namely "My Korean Jagiya,""The One That Got Away,"and "Inday Will Always Love You,"  here comes another dramedy, now a family-theme series called "Pamilya Roces." 

The patriarch of the Roces clan is Rodolfo played by Roi Vinzon. He is rich, easily tempted, and the founder of Roces Group of Companies. Oh, and he is also the root cause of this entire family drama.

Making the series more interesting is The Legal Family, headed by Miss Universe 1969 Ms. Gloria Diaz as Natalia Austria-Roces, Rodolfo’s wife. She is beautiful, sophisticated and a former model who came from a well-off family. Natalia has a very supportive sister, Camilla Austria, played by Snooky Serna. Camilla is kind, down-to-earth and treats Rodolfo’s stepchildren well. Rodolfo has two beautiful daughters. His eldest is Crystal Rose Roces-Javellana, played by top Kapuso actress, Carla Abellana. She has always been independent and is being groomed to be the next CEO of their company. Her greatest fear is not living up to people’s expectations, especially of her father’s. Kapuso It Girl Gabbi Garcia plays Jade Roces, the younger daughter. Spoiled, and very self-absorbed, she is a famous social media influencer and her personality often clashes with her father.

Rodolfo’s Second Family is composed of Violet Bolocboc, played by Elizabeth Oropesa, a former kontesera who became a backup dancer. She will later on use her daughter, Amber Bolocboc, played by Sophie Albert to get a larger share of Rodolfo’s wealth. Amber Bolocboc was the result of her parents’ one night stand. She is the main contra vida in Crystal’s life both in power and in love.

Playing equally vital roles are the members of The Third Family: Ana Roces as Lily Renacia, Rodolfo’s true love and the mother of Pearl and Amethyst; Shaira Diaz as Amethyst Roces. She is the youngest “sister” who is charming, smart, clingy and sweet to Rodolfo; and versatile actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith in her very first Kapuso role as Pearl Renacia. She is technically not a Roces, but she’s creative, clever, and not afraid to stand up for what is right, especially for her half-sister, Amethyst.

Joining the powerhouse ensemble are the men in the Roces Family: Rocco Nacino is Hugo Javellana, Crystal’s cariñosong husband who is currently one of the family company’s executives. He and Amber will have a secret affair; Andre Paras is Gareth Austria, Camilla’s adopted son. He is handsome, smart, and often avoids any sort of conflict with anyone. Eventually, he and Pearl will fall in love with each other.

Adding fun and excitement in the series are the allies of the Roces Family; Christian Bautista is Ralph Gomez, the Roces family’s trusted lawyer. He’s a good listener and confidante, especially to Crystal whom he secretly has feelings for; Mika Dela Cruz as Donnatela Rosales, Jade’s best friend who is also an influencer oozing with confidence and loves being the center of attention; Manolo Pedrosa as Gil Figueroa, a budding photographer who pursues Jade but gets rejected.

Erik Matti Back Outs in Filming "Darna," ABS-CBN Releases Official Statement

 Erik Matti, the supposed to be director of the ABS-CBN's "Darna" film already left the project. He will not anymore do the said movie with Liza Soberano on the lead role.


Inline with this issue, ABS-CBN released their official statement. According to their statement, the director left doing the movie because of the creative differences between the director and Star Cinema. Their mutual decision will also allow the filmaker to work on his other projects under his own production, his company called Reality Entertainment.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN already reported that there is already a replacement for Direk Matti. Yes, he is no other than Jerrold Tarog, the director of "Heneral Luna" and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral." So no worries to all the "Darna" and Liza Soberano fans because the movie will still pursue!

Beauty Gonzales, Andrea Brillantes Return on Afternoon Teleserye via "Kadenang Ginto"

After the  successes of "Pusong Ligaw" and "Annaliza," they are set for a great teleserye comeback!

Get to know Romina (Beauty Gonzalez), a loving daughter who strives to give comfort to her family, especially to her mother. Aside from her family, she also finds happiness from her boyfriend Carlos (Adrian Alandy). They will pursue their dreams together, and eventually decide to get married.

However, a day before their wedding, Romina gets raped by an unknown man--a crime that will change her life forever. In disbelief of her girlfriend’s testimony, Carlos will break up with Romina and blame her for her unfortunate fate. But another news will shock her--she is pregnant and the child she carries is the result of the horrific act done to her.

In her moment of despair, she will find refuge in Robert (Albert Martinez), the owner of the company where she works. They will eventually become lovers, but Robert’s daughter Daniela (Dimples Romana) will get in their way and do everything to tear them apart. Mean and conceited, Daniela will treat Romina unfairly and accuse her of being a gold digger.

Their conflict will push Daniela to run away and live on her own. But she will return as Carlos’ wife, and will bring with them their daughter Margaret (Andrea Brillantes).

Daniela and her family’s return will also mark her quest to get the whole share from her father’s inheritance. But this will not be made easy by Romina and her daughter Cassandra (Francine Diaz), who is now a legal child of Robert. This will deepen their rivalry for the love of Robert and their right as the true heirs as they decide to live under one roof.

Daniela and Romina’s rivalry will seem to be reflected by their daughters Margaret and Cassandra. Margaret will grow up rebellious and used to getting everything she wants. On the other hand, Cassandra was raised to be kind, compassionate and respectful.

As they live under one roof, Margaret gets increasingly jealous of Cassandra and does everything to win the love and attention of Robert, Margaret’s grandfather and Cassandra’s adoptive father.

The two young actress joining the new ABS-CBN series has poised their acting chops at an early age. Brilliantes was just 10 years old when she headlined her own teleserye, “Annaliza,” which showcased her potential as a drama actress. She was dubbed as Teleserye Princess (TV series Princess) and won the Best Child Performer Award at the PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2013.

On the other hand, Diaz is new in the industry and impressed everyone when she portrayed the young Erich Gonzales in “Be My Lady” in 2016, and young Kim Chiu in “Ikaw Lamang ang Iibigin” in 2017.

Meantime, also part of the cast of “Kadenang Ginto” are Eula Valdez, Ronnie Lazaro, Luke Conde, Nikko Natividad, Adrian Lindayag, Kat Galang, and Savannah Rosales. It is under the direction of Jerry Lopez Sineneng.

Can their golden hearts still return to their gleaming glow now that they are dimmed by anger?

32nd PMPC Star Awards for TV Nominees Revealed

The Philippine Movie Press Club has formally revealed the official nominees and awardees for this year 32nd PMPC Star Awards for TV.


This 2018, Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista is set to receive the Ading Fernando Lifetime Achievement Award while GMA radio and television newscaster, journalist, TV host Arnold Clavio will receive the Excellence In Broadcasting award


ABS-CBN's FPJ's Ang Probinsyano Coco Martin & Yassi Pressman are the recipient of this year's German Moreno Power Tandem.


ABS-CBN's longest running musical variety show ASAP will now be included on the PMPC Hall of Fame.

Dr. Bull is Back Bringing a More Exciting New Season

Dr. Jason Bull seems to have gone through a change of heart after S2 cliffhanger.
 
Brash and brilliant Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) not only comes back alive after suffering from a massive heart attack on the Season 2 finale. He’s also looking like a whole new man as he goes straight back to work and ready for another bout of courtroom voir dire in the third season of Bull on Blue Ant Entertainment.

Towards the end of the last season, Dr. Bull fell into a downward spiral—drinking, overeating, missing out on sleep, and occasionally throwing out tantrums that would sour the confidence of the Trial Analysis Corporation team.


The new season, however, opens with a sleeker-looking man, without the unkempt hair, unshaven face, and the pounds around his waist and under his chin—signs of change from someone who only thinks about himself. Unfortunately, he returns to work facing a rather rich client, an insurance company being sued by a dying mother who was denied coverage for a liver transplant. Will the snarky Dr. Bull manage to choose the right thing not just for himself but also for his team?

It’s a decision that could make or break his return after almost losing the team’s confidence in the previous season due to his self-destructive decisions, especially when he found out that his ex-wife was remarrying. TAC’s second-in-command Marissa Morgan (Geneva Carr) couldn’t help but confront him: “I think you’re an amazing person, Jason, but I am tired of worrying about you, pitying you. I want to admire you again.”

He then tried patching things up—by taking on a risky death penalty case involving a mute man accused of rape, murder, and arson. The team didn’t share his enthusiasm and thought that he was being too impulsive when he took the case. No matter what they said, he trusted his guts—the way he had always done to do what was right for his team and clients.

Dr. Bull stood by his instincts and persuaded the team that there was hope not only for the case, but also for him to make things right again. In the end, they managed to uncover the tracks of the real perpetrator and prove their client’s innocence— not without a heavy toll on him that left viewers with bated breath.

Now Bull is back and in much better health—and more importantly, with more sensitive feelings. Could it be because he came face to face with his mortality? The entire TAC team is certainly happy seeing their boss back in business, but whether he’s become a changed man is another story.

Viewers will have to wait and see if Dr. Bull returns with a kinder disposition when he is enlisted by a big insurance company for a controversial case. The new season also puts the trial science expert Dr. Bull in the jury seat, serving his civic duty while working on a case to defend a woman accused of killing her daughter’s murderer in the next case.

Watch: "Asawa Ko Karibal Ko" Pioneers Another Controversial TV Series

After the success of their very own TV series like "My Husband's Lover,""The Richman's Daughter,"and "Destiny Rose,"GMA-7 pioneers another controversial teleserye that will rock the TV series world. This is via their newest "Asawa Ko Karibal Ko" which will tackle another real-life story.

The series stars Jason Abalos, Thea Tolentino, Kris Bernal, and Rayver Cruz. Jason and Kris portray the characters of the married couple Nathan and Rachel. But Nathan is a closeted gay who just used Rachel to hide his own identity.

Later on, Nathan will undergo a sex transformation. He will return as Venus (in the character of Thea), the transgender who will become the rival of his own wife Rachel. The man who will tear them apart is no other than Rayver Cruz playing the character of Gavin.

As revealed in the vlog, yes, this is the first time that Jason plays a gay role. He is a full blown closeted cross-dresser who will later on return as a transgender. 

"Asawa Ko Karibal Ko" is set to hit the GMA's afternoon block replacing the Megan Young - Katrina Halili teleserye "The Stepdaughters."

Glaiza De Castro Reveals the Challenges of Playing the Character of "Liway"

Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro always creates a remarkable character on every projects she worked with. Well, who among you didn't know the characters of Glazilda, Pirena, and Contessa? Yes, all of them were played by no other than Ms. Glaiza De Castro.

Now in the movie scene, Glaiza portrays the character of"Liway!" Who is Liway? Yeah, she is a brave mother who survived the challenges of the Martial Law years. And just like her previous roles on TV, Glaiza once more created a buzz on the big screen via this remarkable character. And that is why the movie "Liway" now turns into a big hit.

"Liway" is an official entry to the 2018 Cinemalaya film festival. She is shooting for this movie while at the same time taping for her afternoon soap "Contessa."

During the exclusive blogcon of Glaiza De Castro and Dominic Rocco for "Liway," Glaiza revealed the challenges of portraying the character of Contessa and Liway at the same time. Did you know that Glaiza need to change the color of her hair from blonde to black and back to blonde because she is shooting for "Contessa" and "Liway" at the same time?

In Formal Wear: Meet the Five Men of "Los Bastardos"

A man fathers five men who lived different lives, and whose paths will cross as they search for the truth in the newest ABS-CBN series “Los Bastardos”, with its pilot episode streaming via TFC Online (www.TFC.tv) on October 15, 2018.


Jake Cuenca, Diego Loyzaga, Marco Gumabao, Albie Casiño, and Joshua Colet play brothers who are pitted against each other by destiny for power and family in “Los Bastardos”, the latest book in the Precious Hearts Romances Presents series which will be seen outside the Philippines via The Filipino Channel (TFC), with its pilot episode streaming in most countries worldwide via TFC Online (www.TFC.tv) on October 15.

“Los Bastardos”, which is based on the Cardinal Bastards series of Precious Hearts Romances, tells the story of five brothers who must fight against each other for the right to the power and money of the Cardinal family, led by its patriarch, Don Roman Cardinal, played by veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez.

Don Roman will lead a happy life with his small family until tragedy strikes, which will lead him to look for true love from four other women. He will sire five sons from five different women. There is Isagani (Cuenca), Don Roman’s long-lost son with his first love; Joaquin (Loyzaga), the only son who’ll grow up under his care; Matteo (Gumabao), who will grow up with the rival family of the Cardinals; Connor (Colet), who will become a conman bent on destroying the Cardinal’s wealth; and Lucas (Casiño), who will grow up not knowing the man he serves is his own father.

Although they come from different worlds, they are bound together by the same blood.

"Supernatural" Season 14 Premieres with The Search for Dean Winchester

Popular dark fantasy series Supernatural makes an explosive return to AXN with the premiere of Season 14 on October 17.

With Dean possessed by the archangel Michael in the finale episode of Supernatural Season 13, this new instalment begins with Sam enlisting everyone’s help to track down Dean, who can literally be anywhere. Meanwhile, Castiel may be in over his head after meeting up with an unreliable source. After being drained of his grace, Jack is adjusting to life as a human, learning new skills and figuring out how he fits in to this world of hunters.  



“It’s challenging to write episodes without Dean Winchester in them because he’s such a fundamental part of the show,” said showrunner Andrew Dabb. “But it’s also exciting for Jensen and us to have the opportunity to play around with this new character. It gives some other characters a bit of breathing room in terms of Castiel and Jack, and Mary and Bobby.”

After the epic crossover in “Scoobynatural”, fans of Supernatural can look forward to other surprises this season, including an homage to their favourite slasher films and an appearance by the Wayward Sisters.

Supernatural Season 14 returns October 17, Wednesday at 10.35pm on AXN.
